Description

Are you looking to practice public speaking, improve your communication and build leadership skills?

The purpose of Toastmasters is to help members overcome fears about speaking in public, improve communication skills and develop leadership skills. The chief mechanism in developing these skills is through the typical club meeting, which is designed to provide an opportunity to practice various techniques in a variety of situations in a safe and supportive environment among fellow club members who want to help you succeed.

At 21st Century Toastmasters’ weekly club meetings members have opportunities to practice both prepared and impromptu speaking, to give and receive constructive feedback as well as to conduct meetings and develop leadership skills, all within a positive, encouraging atmosphere.

We meet every Friday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm (MST). We are currently meeting using a hybrid meeting format (a combination online/in-person format). We ask all participants to arrive (if in-person) or logon (if on Zoom) 10 – 15 minutes before the meeting time so we can make sure everyone is present and to socialize a bit.

Our club is open to all individuals over 18 years old and individuals of all speaking levels are welcome. We would love to have you check us out. Attending as a guest is free. You aren't required to speak in the meeting unless you want to. To RSVP or for more information, questions or for the Zoom link if you would like to attend virtually, please contact Dori Rinehart at president-4829@toastmastersclubs.org.

Feel free to check out our club website at 4829.toastmastersclubs.org or our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/21stctm for more information as well.
