Description
The event is indented to spread public awareness about how to prevent targeted violence in Colorado communities. The first 30-45 minutes would entail presentations on what targeted violence is, the individual and societal risk factors for targeted violence, and reporting/prevention resources. The remainder of the time would be a panel Q&A with members of the community. This would allow community members to have a conversation with and ask questions of a panel of professionals working in targeted violence space from multiple different agencies and disciplines with a mix of local, state, federal and community organizations.
