All Pikes Peak Library District locations will close at 6 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 27 and will be closed on Thu., Nov. 28 in observance of Thanksgiving.  The eLibrary and other online services and resources will still be available.

Rockrimmon Library will close on Sun., Dec. 1.

Manitou Springs Library is temporarily closed to prepare for its move in early 2025.

It’s time to campaign for your favorite fictional character! From Oct 5 - Oct 18, create a poster that answers the following question: “How would your favorite fictional character change the world for the better if they were elected president?” Facebook entries must include #ppldchallenge and tag @ppldkids or @ppldteens. Or email your entry to ppldchallenge@ppld.org and we’ll post it to Facebook for you. One lucky winner will receive a $25 gift card to Poor Richards Books & Gifts.

From Oct 20- Nov 3, it’s time to vote! All characters entered will be added to an online survey for voting. Encourage your family and friends to join in the voting - the winning character will be featured on our FaceBook page.
