September 30: "Joy" with representatives at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

This workshop is all about the joy we feel being a part of our home and community and how we share that with other communities near and far. We will write an ode to joy and focus on the small and big things that bring us joy. 

Pikes Peak Global Poetry Experience

Experience poetry and writing like never before through an immersive virtual experience in “Sojourner”, Colorado Springs’ local Portal. Learn more about yourself and celebrate our community while connecting with other poets from around the globe.  The Pikes Peak Poet Laureate, Ashley Cornelius will lead a series of workshops throughout the month of September focusing on a variety of aspects of global community and communication.  At the end of the month, Cornelius will create a collaborative poem drawn from the collective experiences of those who participate in this event.
