September 2: "Home" with representatives at Santos, Brazil

Explore the concept of home through writing prompts and community discussion. Home is so much more than a physical location.  We'll be using the "I am from" poetry prompt as the anchor of the session. 

Pikes Peak Global Poetry Experience

Experience poetry and writing like never before through an immersive virtual experience in “Sojourner”, Colorado Springs’ local Portal. Learn more about yourself and celebrate our community while connecting with other poets from around the globe.  The Pikes Peak Poet Laureate, Ashley Cornelius will lead a series of workshops throughout the month of September focusing on a variety of aspects of global community and communication.  At the end of the month, Cornelius will create a collaborative poem drawn from the collective experiences of those who participate in this event.
