Description
The People's Panel will be a town hall style event where members of the community, including those experiencing homelessness, will be able to share their stories and challenges with housing in the city. We plan to invite city leaders to attend so that they can hear from their community in the hopes of building bridges to find more solutions to the affordable housing crisis in the city. This event will be put on by Colorado Springs DSA in collaboration with other local non-profit organizations, including the Chinook Center, the Colorado Springs Tenants Union, Pro Housing Partnership, and hopefully many others. We also hope to provide Spanish language translation and sign language, and can provide more details upon reservation confirmation, as that will allow us to begin promoting the event.
