Over the course of The Gazette’s 150-year history they have provided a great service to the community. In 2014, the newspaper was honored with the Pulitzer Prize in National Reporting for Dave Philipps’ article, “Other than Honorable.” This award, The Gazettes’ second and most recent Pulitzer, was awarded “for expanding the examination of how wounded combat veterans are mistreated, focusing on loss of benefits for life after discharge by the Army for minor offenses, stories augmented with digital tools and stirring congressional action” (pulitzer.org).

Join reporter, Dave Philipps, editor, Joanna Bean, and photographer, Michael Ciaglo, in a discussion of their work on this award-wining article.

Registration is encouraged but not required. A reminder email will be sent to all registrants three days before the program.
