Pikes Peak Library District is closed Fri., Jan. 16, for staff development and Mon., Jan. 19, to observe the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. The eLibrary, as well as other online services and resources, will still be available.

The weather is getting colder and the leaves are changing, so that means it’s that time of year: All four-year-olds in Colorado are getting a free book!

One Book Colorado is returning for its 9th year! There are a few great ways to engage in early literacy programs and activities virtually at onebookcolorado.org.

Books are be available to pick up at your favorite PPLD branch from Tue., Oct.13 - Sun., Oct. 25. Many schools may have them for your child as well.

The winner is The Little Red Fort [El fuertecito rojo] by Brenda Maier!
