Northstar Internet Basics

The internet has become so vast and ubiquitous that some of us may not even know where to begin. This class is designed to introduce students to the basics of using the internet. Students will learn how to connect a device to the internet, how to search the internet safely, and troubleshooting tips for common issues. The class meets weekly for four consecutive weeks, 3 sessions are instructor led and cover material on the given topic and a 4th session that is conducted as an open lab for students to ask questions, take proctored exam, or get more information.
