This course will continue where Internet Basics Part 2 left off. Please make sure to have taken Internet Basics Part 2 before signing up for this course.
Learners will practice how to protect their privacy on the internet. They will learn about their browsing history and how to open a private window that will not track their history. Learners will also learn to recognize secure and insecure websites.
Learners will practice filling out online forms and common issues filling them out. Learners will identify required information online forms.
They will also practice completing a CAPTCHA request (a test to discern human from non-human users) and enabling a pop-up window in order to access an online form.
Participants will learn to identify common ways their computer may catch a virus and how to use anti-virus software.
