This course will continue where Internet Basics Part 1 left off. If signing up for this course, please make sure to have taken Internet Basics Part 1.
Learners will practice using Google Chrome, though the material will apply to other internet browsers as well. Learners will use the address bar (where web addresses are typed) to initiate a Google search for information. They will practice analyzing the results of a Google search to identify the best search results.
Learners will gain experience reading the blue links to identify websites more likely to have the information they are looking for. They will also learn to read the green letters to identify the web address for the result of their search.
Learners will also practice how to zoom in or zoom out on a web page and find a specific word on a page using ctrl+f.
