Thinking about starting a nonprofit or some type of business that serves the community in an altruistic way? Not sure what the steps are or where to begin? Join Rebecca Rodriguez, author of, The Nonprofit Workbook: Tips & Best Practices for Start-Ups Serving the Greater Common Good, for a three-hour workshop focusing on how to get your idea or start-up off the ground and on the road to success. Rebecca will discuss the required, best practice or must do steps to get your entity or business started as well as important topics such as how to generate revenue, board governance, program design to include building a logic model, and monitoring and evaluation. Participants will have an opportunity to purchase a copy of Rebecca's book, either as an eAudio or physical book. A limited number of books will be raffled off. Light refreshments will be provided.
