All Pikes Peak Library District locations will open at 11 a.m. on Fri., Sept. 27 due to an all-staff training.

Manitou Springs Library will open at 10 a.m. on Sat., Sept. 21 due to Pikes Peak Marathon road closures.

East Library will be closed starting Mon., Sept. 16 to complete parking lot repairs.

The Mobile Earth and Space Observatory is coming to PPLD for Summer Adventure! MESO is a “science center on wheels" with hands-on educational and research activities focused on earth and space sciences, renewable energy, and scientific instrumentation.

Participants will explore through the process of science and in-depth scientific concepts. Scientist-educators engage attendees directly with scientific tools such as solar and celestial telescopes, spectroscopy, infrared cameras, augmented reality sand table, gravity wells, and much more!
