Event Details

The sounds of Celtic Melodies will echo throughout the library on Monday, December 19th from 11:00 a.m to noon. 

 

This performance will overlap with our Wrap + Yap program scheduled from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  The library will provide gift-wrapping supplies for your unwrapped presents along with hot cocoa, cider and snacks.  No reservations are required.

 

Celtic Melodies is an Irish music duet comprised of two sisters. Danika plays the Celtic Lever harp. Along with performing regularly and teaching harp lessons, Danika composes and arranges music for the group. She can be heard performing at the British Pantry in Old Colorado City every Saturday. Helena plays Irish Fiddle. She plays by ear and from the heart and helps compose the group’s arrangements. Helena has played fiddle at Rock Ledge Ranch for the past 4 summers and performs with Strings n Things and the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Association.
