Event Details
Take the first steps into designing graphics for laser cutting. Using Inkspace, a free Vector Graphics Software, we will create custom project designs to engrave and cut out of 1/8" wood. No previous experience required. Ages 9 and up. After completing this badging class, you will be able to use the laser cutter/engraver on your own during the makerspace open hours at East and Sand Creek libraries, as well as Library 21c. If you are unable to attend this badging class or would prefer not to attend in person, a virtual badging option is available. Please contact one of the makerspaces, East, Sand Creek, or Library 21c, for more information.

Creative space agreement: Patrons under 18 will need a signed Creative Space Use Agreement for Minors to use the makerspaces. You are encouraged to submit this at the class so that we have it on file. You must be at least 9 years of age to be in the makerspaces or to attend this class. Children ages 9 – 11 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
