Who is this class for?
Jewelry Lab Certification is for members who have this level of expertise:
- Beginners
We have a variety of supplies for you to use. Members will benefit from learning the 'house rules' of the Jewelry Lab space so they are able to use it independently.
Learning Objective
To be able to:
- use proper attachments when beading
- use headpins correctly to secure beading projects
Learning Outcome:
Students will be able to:
- complete beading projects independently with polished results when they use the jewelry lab in the future
- use the jewelry lab respectfully, following 'house rules' of the space
- leave this certification with the skills to independently work in the lab and make beading projects that securely hold together!
Membership Types and Access to the Jewelry Lab
Once certified a member will be able to use the Jewelry Lab independently depending on membership type:
- Certified library cardmembers will have access to the Jewelry Lab during the hours of 10am-6pm Tuesday to Thursday and 10am-5pm Friday and Saturday
- Certified members who have red entry badges will have access to the Jewelry Lab for 22hrs a days, 7 days a week.
