Event Details

Take the first steps into designing graphics for laser cutting. Using Inkscape, a free Vector Graphics Software, we will create custom coaster designs to engrave and cut out of 1/8” wood. Don’t coast on your creativity with a laser engraver! No previous experience required. Ages 9 and up.

Patrons under 18 must have a signed Creative Space Use Agreement for Minors. You must be at least 9 years of age to be in the Makerspaces. Children 9-11 must be accompanied by a guardian.

After completing this badging class, you will be able to use the Laser Cutter/Engraver on your own during Open Hours at Library 21c, East and Sand Creek Library Makerspaces. If all you need is badging, click here.
