Program Description

Event Details

Take the first steps into designing graphics and laser cutting. Using Inkscape, a free vector graphics software, we will create custom project designs to engrave and cut on 1/8-inch wood pieces. No previous experience required, and all materials provided. Ages 9 and up. After completing this badging class, you will be able to use the laser cutters on your own

during open hours at makerspaces at East and Sand Creek libraries, as well as Library 21c (reservations recommended). If you are unable to attend this badging class or would prefer not to attend in person, an virtual badging option is available.

Makerspace classes can fill up quickly, so it is best to register close to when registration opens. If you are unable to register for this class, you can find other Inkscape classes at all three makerspaces.

All participants must have their own library card. Please contact one of the makerspaces for more information.
