Pikes Peak Library District is closed Fri., Jan. 16, for staff development and Mon., Jan. 19, to observe the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. The eLibrary, as well as other online services and resources, will still be available.

Event Details

Join us for “I Can Be a Philanthropist,” an engaging event designed to inspire kids ages 7 and older, along with their families, to explore the joy of giving back and making a difference in their community.  

We will kick off the day with a Storytime that presents the concept of philanthropy in a fun and accessible way. Families can also participate in hands-on activities, meet local nonprofit organizations, and hear from real volunteers and youth philanthropists who are helping shape the Pikes Peak region. 

Light refreshments will be provided. Hosted by PPLD Foundation in collaboration with Give Pikes Peak.
