All Pikes Peak Library District locations will close at 6 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 27 and will be closed on Thu., Nov. 28 in observance of Thanksgiving.  The eLibrary and other online services and resources will still be available.

Rockrimmon Library will close on Sun., Dec. 1.

Manitou Springs Library is temporarily closed to prepare for its move in early 2025.

Learn more about PPLD's Food Industry Training Program and take the mandatory pre-test for admission. 

Our 5-week intensive training program will help you learn the skills you need to enter a career in the culinary industry.

The first half hour with give you a chance to hear about the program's purpose and content, meet the Chef Instructor, and find out how Food Industry Training can help you prepare for a new career. 

The mandatory Basic Education Testing will take place from11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. This test is for planning purposes so that we know what level of support to offer during the training. Performance on the test will not affect your eligibility for the Food Industry Training.
