Ruth Holley Library will be temporarily closed for approximately one week starting Mon., Dec. 2 to complete roof repairs.

All Pikes Peak Library District locations will close at 6 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 27 and will be closed on Thu., Nov. 28 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Rockrimmon Library will close on Sun., Dec. 1.

Manitou Springs Library is temporarily closed to prepare for its move in early 2025.

EPIC: Ariel Horowitz Encore Performance, October 16th, 7pm, Manitou Arts Center

This Encore Performance is made possible by a generous grant from the City of Manitou Springs.

THIS CONCERT WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY OCTOBER 16th AT THE MANITOU ARTS CENTER.

In Celebration of October is Arts Month!

Ms. Horowitz is a rising star! In October of 2020, Ariel won the Concert Artists Guild Ambassador Prize and joined the Concert Artists Guild roster. A recent graduate of the Yale School of Music under the tutelage of Ani Kavafian, Ariel previously studied with Itzhak Perlman and Catherine Cho at The Juilliard School. Ariel is a prizewinner of the Grumiaux, Stulberg, and Klein International Competitions as well as the Salon De Virtuosi Career Grant. Click here for program notes.

Ms. Horowitz will be joined by our local stars Yukino Miyake on piano and Sergei Vassiliev on clarinet.

The program will include classics like Brahms G major violin sonata and Tchaikovsky's Waltz-Scherzo. New masterpieces include Jesse Montgomerry's Rhapsody and Paul Schoenfield's Trio for violin, piano, and clarinet.
