Program Description

Event Details

Participants will perform a fun experiment with Alka-Seltzer tablets as well as observe an exploding experiment with Mentos and soda pop to understand the scientific method. Next, participants will compete in teams of two to guide a marble down a zipline to a target to understand the details of the engineering process.

This class will be presented by O'Toolin Around, a community member of Monumental Impact. Many of Monumental Impact’s community members, both students and adults, rely on the engineering process or scientific method to build reliable robots for competitions and to translate their creative ideas into reality. Ages 9 and up.
