All Pikes Peak Library District locations will close at 6 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 27 and will be closed on Thu., Nov. 28 in observance of Thanksgiving.  The eLibrary and other online services and resources will still be available.

Rockrimmon Library will close on Sun., Dec. 1.

Manitou Springs Library is temporarily closed to prepare for its move in early 2025.

Event Details

Learn to use Libby, the Overdrive app, to access eBooks and eAudiobooks with your PPLD account on your personal tablet or smartphone. In this class, you will download the Libby app to your tablet or smartphone, sign into Libby using your PPLD account (card number and pin), learn to navigate Libby, and practice searching for and downloading titles to your device.

Requirements: Bring your library card and four-digit pin, your own tablet and/or smartphone, AND the account information for the corresponding app store.

  • Apple iPhone/iPad: Apple App Store account username and password
  • Android phone/tablet: Google Play account username and password
  • Microsoft tablet: Microsoft Store account username and password
  • Kindle Fire: Amazon account username and password

Laptops and computers are not available for this class. Each participant should bring a personal tablet or smartphone to use the Libby app.
