DYE LAB-Indigo Vats $40

Learn how to start an indigo vat using three different recipes. We will explore how to start a pre-reduced, a chemical and a sugar vat and how to maintain each vat. Students will use the vats to explore the different colors each vat produces and how the different vats affect different fabrics. Students will walk away with a workable knowledge of how to start and maintain an indigo vat.

$25 supply fee payable to instructor at start of class
