All Pikes Peak Library District locations will close at 6 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 27 and will be closed on Thu., Nov. 28 in observance of Thanksgiving.  The eLibrary and other online services and resources will still be available.

Rockrimmon Library will close on Sun., Dec. 1.

Manitou Springs Library is temporarily closed to prepare for its move in early 2025.

Event Details

We have missed bringing you Storytime in person! Join us for a Drive-in Storytime at Penrose Library to celebrate the new year! Storytellers will be on a stage, and you will stay in your car and tune your FM radio to our channel to be able to hear the stories and songs. Storytime will take place in the parking lot behind Penrose Library off of Pikes Peak Avenue.

Registration is required. Only one registration per vehicle.

In the event of inclement weather (rain, snow, or extreme temperatures), the program will be cancelled.

Library restrooms will be unavailable.
