East Library will begin an elevator modernization project lasting approximately six weeks on Wed., March 12.

The Library will remain open, but the 2nd floor will only have stair access. Visit ppld.org/east-library-improvements for more information.

Artist Statement

With a background of music dance and design I began weaving as a child starting in textiles, I found limitations in dimension and detail.

Having always appreciated artifacts and restoration I embraced my current medium. A gourd round like the earth, natural. A small seed bead with needled thread, a prayer, time patience I begin. “As a weaver and artist, I now have my dimension, my detail, my Earth Tapestries.”
