All Pikes Peak Library District locations will be closed Mon., May 26 in observance of Memorial Day. The eLibrary and other online services and resources will still be available.

Old Colorado City Library will be closed on Sat., May 24 due to Territory Days.

East Library will begin an elevator modernization on Wed., March 12.

The Library will remain open, but the 2nd floor will only have stair access. Visit ppld.org/east-library-improvements for more information.

Chilly weather got you down? Warm up in the kitchen and join us to make a delicious and comforting Choux Pastry recipe. In this class, you will learn about seasonal cooking, how to use proper kitchen techniques, and have the opportunity to cook and enjoy a culinary treat.

All participants are required to follow the PPLD Kitchen Policy and follow the directions of staff during the program.

  •  All participants must sign the Kitchen Participant Waiver.  Participants under the age of 18 must have their parent/guardian sign the waiver for minors on their behalf.  Waivers will be available at the program. 
  • Close-toed shoes are required.  Non-slip shoes are strongly recommended. 
  • All participants must wear a hairnet or hat.  Hairnets will be available at the program. 
  • The PPLD Kitchen is not an allergen-free facility and cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.  If you have food allergies, please contact the library for more information.
