Description
Chained Voices is an advocacy and empowerment art show designed by the DU Prison Arts Initiative (DU PAI) to showcase the humanity and creativity of residents inside the Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC). The goal of the initiative is to create a space of healing, transformation and possibility that enriches the lives of people both inside and outside the prison system. The exhibit will be on display during the month of September in the gallery space at Library 21c. This panel discussion hosted by Correcting Corrections will include participants from DU PAI, the CDOC, and the local community who are working to shift our focus on criminal justice reform from punishment to reintegration.
