Colorado Youth Symphony

About The Collegiate-Performance Preparation Program:

Launched in September 2017 through a Music Teacher National Association Teacher Enrichment Grant, and through the sponsorship of the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony, this program is designed to give pre-college music students the opportunity to learn confidence in performance, to be educated in performance etiquette, to be knowledgeable in self-presentation, and to be progressively prepared for collegiate application and audition procedures.  Concluding our third year this spring, three graduating seniors received scholarships to music colleges of choice in 2018 and 2019.  Four are currently on audition tours to collegiate music schools this month.
