Kick off your creativity with our CNC Router! PPLD's ShopBot Desktop CNC is a computer-controlled mill, router, and drill all in one that lets you make your own projects with wood or acrylic. Learn the basics of V-Carve Pro and ShopBot Routers while designing a custom engraved token with your initials on it. Transfer these skills to make custom signs, cutting boards, and picture frames. What will you create? No previous experience required. Ages 16 and up.
This class is required to use the CNC on your own during makerspace open hours at Library 21c. Join us and start making today!
Note: patrons under 18 years of age will need to have a signed Creative Space Use Agreement for Minors to use the makerspaces during open hours. You are encouraged to submit this at the class so that we have it on file. You must be at least 9 years of age to be in the makerspaces or to attend this class. Children ages 9 – 11 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Please note that your completed badges will be added to your library card. If you don’t have a library card, you can sign up online or in person at any Library location.
