Children of Gaia CO presents: (B)liss: Celebrating Black Joy! Creativity, Joy and Rest

Saturday, June 26th 4-8pm @ Manitou Art Center 513 Manitou Ave (Bus Route #3)

FREE all ages event that highlights the art, joy, stories, and music in solidarity with the Black Lives movement for social justice and accountability. This will be an interactive event with local artists, including interactive art workshops. This program has been funded by the MACH initiative with funding from the City of Manitou Springs Sales and Use Tax approved by the voters in 2019. We will be holding space for Joy, Celebration, Voices, Art and Rest. Art workshops, sound bath and meditation (feel free to bring a mat or a cozy something) We are offering space with the aim of bringing the community together on the path of healing. We invite all to bring their own cup for some lemonade and tea, while providing the chance to meet Gaia (our beloved 12ft tall Black Mother Earth Goddess protest puppet). Come share your stories and learn more about Children of Gaia CO and upcoming workshops.
