Event Details

Area multimedia instructors Sophie T. and Patti Smithsonian present a workshop offering projects for honoring the departed, our feelings of love and grief, and honor our memories of those we are grieving. Participants will be able to create two projects: a grief journal and a home memorial. This workshop will include a slideshow of how many cultures honor their departed including Ofrendas (Mexico), Joss paper (Chinese), and Ossa de Mortu (Italy).
