All Pikes Peak Library District locations will close at 6 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 27 and will be closed on Thu., Nov. 28 in observance of Thanksgiving.  The eLibrary and other online services and resources will still be available.

Rockrimmon Library will close on Sun., Dec. 1.

Manitou Springs Library is temporarily closed to prepare for its move in early 2025.

SMC Col. Tom Duhs (ret.) and historian will share insights about the 10th Mountain Division, which formed and trained from 1942-44 at Camp Hale, Colorado near Leadville to become the first American ski troops in anticipation of fighting in the Alps during World War II. Many would go on to found ski areas around the country after the war.
